Naast het bieden van animatie op het festival, zullen we de sport te presenteren om nieuwe fans aan te trekken voor touch rugby en rugby in het algemeen.
We willen het publiek zo veel mogelijk betrekken, ongeacht (touch-) rugbyervaring, terwijl spelers ook een mooie kans krijgen om te spelen en hun talenten en liefde voor de sport te demonstreren. De sportieve agenda voor de dag zijn :

Skills/oefeningen met deelname van het publiek/festivalgangers
Sociale wedstrijden. Touch rugby spelers en leden van het publiek worden uitgenodigd om zich individueel te registreren - we zullen de teams op de dag zelf de ploegen indelen.Naast touch rugby biedt LEFT Festival ook geweldige faciliteiten en vermaak voor jong en oud (muziek, foodtrucks, rommelmarkt voor kinderenanimatie). Touch Rugby in the Spotlight during LEFT Festival at Linkeroever (Antwerp) on 18 May
On Saturday 18 May, Left Festival will be presenting touch rugby as part of their festival program (in collaboration with Touch Belgium and Antwerp Rugby Club), which is expected to attract around 10,000 visitors.
In addition to providing the festivalgoers with some sporting entertainment, we will showcase the sport to attract new enthusiasts to the sport of touch rugby and rugby in general.
We want to engage the public as much as possible, irrespective of (touch) rugby experience while also providing players with a great chance to play and to show off their skills and their enjoyment of the game. The sporting agenda for the day includes :
Exhibition match
Skills/drills demonstration with participation from the public/festivalgoers
Open social matches. Touch rugby players and members of the public are invited to register individually - we will make up the teams on the day.
In addition to the touch rugby, Left Festival will also be providing great facilities and entertainment for both young and old (live music, food trucks, kids entertainment, flea market).
